Hard Rock

A fantastic day today! Woke up to get an e-mail that my preparations passed scrutiny! So the order of service is out! Then I jumped in the car, grabbed the train and headed into London to meet mum and sis-in-law. They are both down to watch niece number two dance!

We met up in the wee shopping centre by Bond St tube station and had a Pret coffee. I got my hands on my brand new camera that mum and dad have got me for my b'day... which is a couple of months off yet! I think dad is v happy that I love to take photos now I'm into blip! So he had already charged the battery and included 2 memory cards and I got the camera out the box and ready to use. Set the date (more about that...) and started blipping away.

We did a good bit of Oxford St, and jumped on a bus down to Marble Arch... got off a bit late and had to walk back to the shops we wanted to visit. Finally we made it to the Hard Rock cafe for yummy fattening food and wine (for them and a non-alcoholic cocktail for me).

After food we headed into the Rock shop so I could buy a pin and I spotted all these guitar necks on the wall. I had to blip them. I stared at them for ages before I figured out what they were.

Got the train home and pulled my photos out onto my laptop to play. Selected my blip and uploaded it to be told I had taken the photo a year ago..... ermm I set the date as 4 Mar 2009!!!! Doh! So I'm hoping the moderator let's me post this one.. but just in case I'll blip a few shots around the house in case I need to back blip. Can't have a day missed.
