Walk in the sun

A suitably slow start to the morning. The kids voted to stay at home leaving the adults to have a remarkably civilised trip to the market - a slightly odd mix of the past and the future. Though apparently there will be more beige and we will drive a little more slowly.

A walk along the roman road before another lovely lunch in the sunshine. Followed by a long afternoon nap. A camp-in/camp-out dinner around the fire and much idle chat into the wee hours.

Another splendid day.
