Kong Ball
The toy Liffey is playing with is hallow and is made to hold pieces of her kibble and slowly drop them as she moves the ball around. Depending on how often the larger holes point downward the game can easily last for a quarter hour.
She has learned that keeping the large hole down is more rewarding than any other position but just turning the ball so that the large hole is down does not guarantee that kibble will fall out.
It can be a real hoot watching her work that ball all over the first floor of our house.
She'll even grab it and throw it into the air trying to get to her treat.
