First Snow

The snowline will creep down the mountain...a little bit every time it snows. The golden Tamaracks stand out from the evergreen pines and fir as the mountain struggles to bring forth life after the devastating fires. New baby Tams are growing to replace the lost pines. Fir trees will follow. The snows nourish and whisper of spring...the mountain sighs,"Thank you..."
