Tipped up......

...and in a spin. The flies have started to arrive, and this one was in the process of dying. It was spinning on the window sill, and as I didn't have a photo, thought it would be a great macro shot. It appears to have its tongue hanging out - or perhaps it is gasping its last breath!

It has been a bit of a wild day. Torrential rain, strong winds, sun and a light dusting of snow on the hills. Certainly not what we would expect in November.
