The West Dart

We have to pack up and return to Liverpool today. It was a wild night, but the morning is clear and relatively still. It's obvious that a lot of leaves have fallen. A short walk to Huccaby Farm for some eggs provides a glimpse of the West Dart in flood. Banks that had been clearly visible yesterday are now under water.

It's been a lovely few days back on the Moor. Sorry to have missed Mydartmoorwalks. I will back post the pictures that I took on the days that I was away from internet technology, so that you can see them if you wish:
Thursday 30th. Oct.
Friday, 31st Oct.
Sat. 1st. Nov.

I'm looking forward to catching up with your journals as soon as I can.

It's the end of half term and the motorways are busy, but we return in time to see The Gloaming in the Concert Room at St George's Hall. Magnificent, and a great way to end this year's Irish Festival.
