Michael, Susanne and Noreen Jefferson

Up and out of the house early this morning, before anyone else was awake. The first day back at school is always a busy one and it was good to get a head-start on the day.

I've become strangely attached to our pumpkins. They've moved from the front of the house to the back garden; looking through the back door and spooking the cat. It's always hard to throw away things that the children have made, and even more so when they have names and 'personalities'.

Poor old Noreen Jefferson looks like she needs a trip to the dentist. If her head doesn't collapse first.
