The BMW, the Lambo and the Maserati

The rally finished today, not far to the left of this picture is the winning car, a Mitsubishi if I remember rightly. These supercars and the nice older BMW are parked right where they should be on occasions like this... right outside a $2000 (yes, 2000) a night hotel right on the lake front.

Admirers of all ages stopped to take a look while I was there and one man posing for his comedy photo next to the black and orange Lamborghini showing off his key for a 1993 Toyota. The end of the day was postponed due to an accident, while I was near the finish line, they reported that the person injured had been air lifted with minor injuries and the rally would finish when the road re opened. Good news that nobody was seriously hurt.

Time for work to see what tonight brings with race fans and drivers, pretty sure the hardcore won't be out tonight after the mess of everyone last night.
