Cup fever

A trip to exotic Larbert for a Scottish Cup match today; facing the might of East Stirlingshire at Ochilview. We won 4-1, though their goal was the best of the match, cracked in off the far post. Here you can see the massive excited crowd heading to the game ;)

The Shire are always the club people forget about when asked to name the 5 Scottish football clubs that start and end with the same letter.

The other notable fact that I discovered today was that the McCowan's Sweetie factory was near Ochillview, and very sadly seems to be closed.
McCowan's Highland toffees were a staple of the penny tray in the sweetie shops of my youth...
