Aonach Mor

Before starting on site this morning I had a wee look at a section of road I had been told had been washed out following the recent storms. We should have used this trail to get to our survey site on Friday but had to take the only other option via Corriechoillie.
The river has selected a new route for itself and has decided not to bother going under the road bridge built by man to accommodate it. The bridge and original river bed are left high and dry. I have not blipped it because one image cannot convey the situation or terrifying scale of flood water excavation. It was also still pretty dark.

I have however posted a few here

Our work today was across two separate sites on the lower slopes of Aonach Mor. This mountain though now accumulating precipitation in the form of snow higher up is still shedding a lot of water. I liked the look of this wee waterfall.
