Cross country cottage

After a few false starts we are at last in Devon: 475 miles and 9 hours travelling (including breaks) from home.

Apart from the heavy downpours and very wet roads at points not a bad drive. In before midnight having left Livingston at 3pm.

The start to the day was complicated by one of our headlights failing yesterday so an early morning trip to the garage had to be scheduled.

The alternative blip was a selfie in the headlamp casing.

But this is better. Our home for the next few days. Not as many as we originally intended but at least we are here safe and sound.

Now, where are the cream teas?
