Real pumpkin soup

A lovely day with a walk on Blackford Hill in the strong wind which gave a lovely clarity to the air, the low sun casting great long shadows.

The culmination of the day though was a firework party at friends whose house backs onto a park. All the neighbours club together to pay for a formal display. All very impressive as was the array of soups and food afterwards. This pumpkin soup served au naturel was a highlight!
