Dusted

Liverpool One has dusted down the reindeers. And shown the decency, at least for now, not to switch on their lights. It won't be long, I think.

Actually, I'm not really that bothered. I understand why they do it and do it so early. Operating a retail space must be pretty challenging in the current climate and Liverpool One does it well. There are very few empty units and apparently footfall has increased every year since it opened in 2008. They do the seasons pretty well - the beach bar in the summer and the ice bar in the winter, for example. It's difficult to have a go.
