A cooooold start to the morning - the first frost of winter greeted us on our way to school. She seemed to have a really good day. She was proud of her little self as today she went to Christian club with her friend. She had a great time and is very excited to take another friend next week. She was also pleased as they got a "marble treat" today. They watched Elmo, she said. I got my first "Katie's had a bump to the head" text but when I got to school she didn't have a mark on her and it had barely even been a bump!

After school, we had a snuggle on the sofa. She has discovered that ballet school exists and is watching quite a few documentaries, which is what she asked to watch this evening- the joys of YouTube. Granny and grandad arrived after not very long. We had decided to do bonfire night tonight, for all that we "do" it! Bonfire soup and sparklers in the garden after tea. We curled back up on the sofa after they'd gone home and she finally got chance to read the book that she'd chosen for her birthday. Sleep wasn't long in coming when we snuggled down in bed.
