Beside the Seaside

G&J were amazed!
Perfect autumn weather, not too cold, and not a cloud in the sky.
It was low tide and the sand stretched out for what seemed miles, with no sign of the sea.
We walked along by the beach huts. Every one different. They both said they had never seen anything like this before. It was nice that they loved the place as much as we do.

Also took them to Morston Quay, Stiffkey marshes,Holkham, Burnham Market, and Burnham Thorpe , where we visited the church where Lord Nelson's father was vicar, and where he was born and christened, and spent his boyhood.

Lunch was salmon and leek soup, at the Three Horseshoes, Warham.
Very old fashioned pub. Sign outside says " Dogs and Wellies Welcome")

Back to ours for the evening meal.
Guess what Brancaster mussels. Not quite as big as we usually get from Morston, but their mussel beds have been destroyed with the bad weather last winter.
Still tasted delicious, and we managed to eat 2 kilos between us. ( So fresh, not one to throw away!)

Today ( Wednesday, as this is back blipped) we are off to the Norfolk Broads.
Weather doesn't look quite as good, but the sun is trying to peep through.
Hope it stays fine.

Many thanks for your all comments and stars for yesterday.
