Last leaves

Today's the day ....................... when the sky was blue

Such a glorious day today.

It was wall-to-wall blue skies and sunshine - and not a breath of wind. Everything was silent and still - and if you sat in a sheltered spot with the sun beating down - it could have been the middle of summer.

Except of course that the last few leaves on the cherry tree were a wonderful orange red reminding you that it was actually - November........................
