Christmas flower...

My grandmother gave my daughter this Christmas cactus when she was born nearly 11 years ago and for the first three years it flowered on her birthday. My grandmother then passed away and since then this has flowered whenever it fancies and often. She was a slightly eccentric artist with her own agenda and seeing this flower always makes me smile. :-)
