Two musicians, one Scottish, one Russian, snapped under the tailgate of the minibus in which Voskeresenije are touring the UK at the moment as the rain poured down on their departure from Dunoon. John (aka Mr PB) and Jurij are constantly frustrated by the difficulties of language as they talk about singing techniques and music, but have become good friends over the past decade on the strength of coming together once a year. Voskresenije have recorded John's arrangement of Auld Lang Syne, and usually perform one piece arranged by him in their concerts.

It was exhausting putting on last night's concert, but I'm sad to see them go.
