November sunset

I have replaced my initial post of a statue in the Auckland Domain; of Robbie Burns. I was not greatly happy with it, and really only posted it because (a) it was a photo for today and (b) it was when I was on a run. And then I saw the setting sun.

A long day at the office, leaving me with a number of letters to write over the weekend, at the same time as I am reading agenda papers, and completing a report. By the time I got home I was a bit tired, and didn't think clearly about my blip.

When I emerged from the essentially windowless study to have dinner with S, I saw that the sun was setting. There was just enough charge left in the battery for three photos. This was the best of them.
