Autumn trim

Susan and I spent most of the daylight hours in the garden on an autumn clearup. That is, after I'd done a bit of work and been in a conference call in the morning. Collected a whole bin load of garden waste from the greenhouse, raspberries and pyracantha (firethorn). Vicious stuff that, with devilish thorns.

Later on in the afternoon I barrowed 4 spent tomato growbags to the allotment. As I wheeled my wheelbarrow along the streets I passed a house with pallets outside and another with long floorboards in the garden. On the way back I knocked at both. The floorboard lady said she'd ask her husband and could I come back tomorrow. The pallet lady said sorry but they had plans for them. The planks would be useful to construct raised beds and the pallets to complete the compost bins.

Just before we were going out for a walk I noticed that my mobile devics were not connecting wirelessly to the internet but the computer, via a cable, was. So I had to spend half an hour "chatting" to an agent to rectify the problem. Solved it though and devices are now connected.
