Noddy & Big Ears...

An "indoors" day today - finished the washing & ironing this morning, then had a technology afternoon. Managed to get holiday photos gathered in one place on my laptop ( from phone, 2 cameras and a netbook ) without too much hassle. Sent a couple off to David with a "thank you" for inviting us on his special birthday trip. Then thought about blip... and it was dark and wet outside...
So...I'm pinching a gilesey idea... an occasional series, my life in  "x" objects... which may be helpful now winter seems to have arrived with a vengeance!
Noddy & Big Ears were favourites of my childhood. These egg cups saw me through many a breakfast, and they were rescued from the recesses of a cupboard in the family home after my mum died. My sister bought some felt to make new hats as the originals had disintegrated, and for some weird reason I happened to have a bell for Noddy's... so they now sit on the bookshelf in the poetry section... I seem to remember I particularly loved Noddy's little car, but that hasn't survived.
