when you completely forget to blip until 23.45 on a Thursday evening. You hope that time stands still. The clock did belong to one of my grandmothers and I used to find the gentle tick tock sound at times soothing and at other times a reminder of time rushing by in waves. The clock decided to stop working about 3 years ago so, for the clock, time has stood still ...

Tempus fugit?
