Next year..

A wet day to start with, one of those days when you can't see the top of Dukes Mount, it's lost in the grey gloom of low cloud. 12 mm in the rain gauge, so went down the croft to see if the new ditch was working.

Well the lake was back, and the drain was running! So the water is probably coming down other drains on the croft, which I'll have to divert into the new ditch. More digging!!

Tidied a few beds out the back, and planted some winter shallots and onion sets.

Sorted the eggs out for tonight's egg run, which I'll take round in the car. And then a quick pint in the hotel and home..
