Tommy
Tommy has lived in Hoy all of his days. He still takes the grey Fergie to the end of the Moaness Pier to collect messages for various folk. The boxes are from Fletts, Argos or the Co-op in Stromness and are sent across twice a week with fresh meat, veg fish etc. Tommy then takes them around to the various folk. He was patient because this quick grabbed Blip was taken in lashing rain.
To add to this 'end of the pier' theme, Tommy can sing well and is great at the long-forgotten art of recitation. He keeps half a dozen kye and a few sheep. He has a tremendous knowledge of the comings and goings in Hoy over the past 75 years.
