Calm after the storm

We had some terrible weather last night with very heavy rain and high winds. Today we woke up to a lovely soft morning and calm water.

It didn't take long to realise that most of the roads around us were closed due to flooding so nobody was going very far. Spent the afternoon taking shots of 4x4's and lorry's going through the floods. Lots of fun.

In the end I preferred this shot taken as I walked to school this morning because the light was so lovely
