Rocket Power

It was our local Bonfire night tonight and the local round table always do an excellent job of building the bonfire. Tonight they built a rocket. The rubber dongy that you see below the fire is the one that is used for the firework guys to cross the river at the head of the loch.

There was no lantern parade this year but the fireworks were excellent. My favourite was one that exploded across the water leaving lots of big red balls that floated in front of us for ages.

I took loads of shots but without a tripod most were deleted. I do not like taking a tripod to these type of events, I would rather enjoy it as it is.
