It's Taken A While

This is a poor photograph of my new tie pin badge.
It's taken me eleven years, my time in the service gave me a wariness of Trade Unions, two spells firefighting, collecting rubbish, emptying bins, ambulance driving, foot & mouth, tanker driving etc gives you the impression that Unions cause nothing but grief.

However when you find employers who have scant regard for their workforce providing neither facilities or leadership you begin to understand that only by collective bargaining can you get their attention.
