Literally the only photograph taken today. +2/3 and +3/3 enjoying some morning cartoons (channel 5 this morning I think as a welcome change to The Cartoon Network).

My colleague brought in his camera today: a Sony A7R with the Sony/Zeiss 55mm f1.8 and Samyang 14mm f2.8 in Nikon mount. There was an unhealthy and quite unseemly amount of camera lust: the A7R feels great - very solid - and produces lovely pictures especially in conjunction with the 55mm lens. The EVF was surprisingly good and had a great zoom for manual focus that worked very well. And the full frame (what a massive sensor!) and all those pixels!

It's enough to make someone switch brands... my poorly Pentax is still awaiting some spare parts and I've no idea when it'll be back.
