Chiswick House and Gardens

It finally felt like Autumn today, fresh, cool, good to be wrapped up. We arrived at Chiswick House all in need of somewhere new to explore, space and fresh air. We got all three and so much more. Really beautiful, dreamy surroundings, a deserted play park, perfect Autumn colours and rustling leaves, ducks and the most intriguing red geese (identified on Google as Egyptian geese), friendly dog owners, coffee and hot milks when it was time to warm up and a mountain of sticks (bows and arrows/wands). The only thing missing was another adult or two and more young explorers. This could easily become our replacement for the sanity saving Botanics, I just need to make some local friends!
