Bembridge Rain and Hail Shower

We have been blessed with some spectacular cloudscapes over the past week. I think Turner must be thanking us for the film Mr. Turner which is in the cinemas now.

This shower passed right over me in the middle of the bay so was thankful I had a large umbrella to protect both myself and camera from the lashing rain and hail.

Even though there was a double rainbow I thought this image was more dramatic in mono. processed through Silver Efex Pro2.
