Bigton Bonfire Night

It's been a great day of sunshine and fairly warm for the time of year. Blue skies all day and a lovely calm night.

Up early and got the chores out of the way, also two loads of washing out on the line. Morning walkies with Sammy to friends house Douglas and Iris at Anness. More walkies in the afternoon around Cunningsburgh and a trip to Lerwick. I'm babysitting my niece Elise tonight. She's staying over the night and settled down with DVDs and sweeties.

Also tonight we went down to Bigton to see my brother and family and join in with the community bonfire night. A huge bonfire and great firework display at the Ireland beach, then followed by burgers, hotdogs and tea in the Bigton community hall.
