Hands on Science

What does one do when its raining and you need to entertain two lively Munchkins...

Well, firstly I took them in the car, and drove very fast (of course within speed limit and sensibly) through the puddles at the side of the road, along the myriad of country roads I have at my disposal, to the great delight of Little Miss E especially. With lots of squeals of "hold on" and " here comes a big one!"

Then off we went to Bristol to @Bristol which is an interactive science and learning zone full of hands on activities for all age groups including adults. I have some super images of the day and couldn't decide between this one or this one Light Curtains. So in the end I went with the colour. After 4 hours of science and animation, I decided to call it a day as Little Miss E was wilting and I had an online food delivery due!

I had intended to take the munchkins to a fireworks display tonight, but we were all tired and it wouldn't have been the same without Mr C. So I got the fire pit started with some logs from the hearth and we toasted marshmallows outside instead with melted chocolate and some hot tea for me. Although some Gluehwein would have been perfect.
