Sound the Octo-Alert!

This afternoon has mainly been spent saving sea creatures in the depths of the ocean. That was, of course, after we had battled our way home from school through a torrential downpour which was much like an ocean being emptied from the sky.
Once safely home though with the fire lit and coats put to dry it was time for Captain Barnacles and his team to get to work. I can't help smiling to myself as I watch the games get more intricate and the abilities of the toys take on more amazing super powers. If only we could do the same for ourselves. I could have flown to the school in my own little force field bubble that repelled the rain or even more impressively managed to click at exactly the right time to get a campervan permit for next years Catfest (which sadly I didn't manage to do). I should be content with the fact I got us tickets again which is more than some folk did who were clicking away at their computers this morning in vain.
