Don't Look Back In Anger

An early start at work so as to prepare for a seminar myself and my team were giving to staff this morning. That done I barely got back to my desk and I got a phone call to say the men who were delivering my bed were waiting outside the house to bring it in - they had arrived early and forgotten to call me to let me know they were on their way. So I drove home to let them in. I'd decided to take the afternoon to further work my way through all the things I need to sort out as a result of moving house. I had a productive afternoon, although I was frustrated to phone the garage about my tyre to be told to come and they could replace it to only find when I got there they needed to order one! Nevermind. I spent the evening working through my cd collection, trying to identify cds which I no longer want. One of the things about moving house is you realise that most of the things you own you don't actually use (very often or at all!). Listening to my cds was a bit nostalgic but enjoyable and it reminded me I need to listen to music more often. I also managed to sort out a pile of cds to get rid of. Thank goodness it is Friday AND for the first time in over two weeks I have a real bed to sleep in!
