Jamming away

I own a piano and an acoustic guitar - neither of which I can play very well. I used to have a flute that I bought second hand but it turned out to be a piece of junk rather than an actual instrument. I'd really like to play saxophone, oboe, clarinet and a base guitar.

Last night we had the neighbors (have I mentioned we have the best neighbors iin the whole of northern Europe?) over for some wine and we ended up discussing musical instruments. Turned out they have this base guitar lying around and when I said I've always wanted to try playing one they immediately promised to lend theirs to me.

This morning my wonderful neighbor rang the doorbell and brought me this beautiful red base guitar. From the internet I found instructions of how to tune it and now all I need to do is to figure out how to play the damned thing...
