Garden Visitor

With the girls deep in their homework and Annie out shopping for food and new boots, I (Chris) had a poke around in the back garden. Spotted one large mushroom that looked a little worse for wear but it suggested looking much closer in the lawn might be worthwhile.

Eventually some smaller examples were located and after a bit of "gardening" (mainly trimming/pulling up the grass) there was a reasonable line of sight with the tripod legs out at their widest angle. This was a perfect job for Annie's camera and its flip out screen. As everything came into focus (macro lens so best achieved manually) there was an unexpected bonus as this spider joined the scene. A quick twist of the focus ring and a blip was made!
