Symbol of Freedom

The bald eagle was made the national bird of the United States in 1782.
It was chosen because it symbolized strength, courage, freedom and immortality.
I am always in awe when I see a bald eagle in flight.
Unfortunately, this bald eagle, is in captivity because of an injury. Hopefully, he will soon be in the wild again.
