The Sentinel

This ewe and lamb were sitting under the magnificent old macrocarpa tree, at the very top of the steep windy track that leads from Port Levy over to Pigeon Bay. I leave it to you whether the Tree or the Ewe is the Sentinel!

I 'escaped' over to Port Levy for the weekend; away from the insurance stresses, the house repair stresses, the flooding and roof issues - and into the wonderful peace and beauty of the Port Hills/Banks Peninsula. Bliss. I stayed with friends at their holiday bach. No wifi over at Port Levy so I'm backblipping.
