Golden November

Daytime temperature again wonderful and it looks like it will remain for a while. Apart from Monday, temperature could be up in the high teens next week!

Angie out for a morning ride. It was so warm that Flash was very pleased when I turned up at the half way point to drive him home. Normally he is reluctant.

Did some work on the bee hives, trying out a "quilt" like covering as suggested by Wandering Sailor. Will see how it works. If we get a very cold spell might even consider putting a second box on top and filling it with light insulation material but it's not really the cold but the condensation which is the problem.

Finally managed to get the trailer free of logs and now need to buy some planks to make a new floor so that I can load up the hedge "trimmings" from last week and get them to the recycling tip before they close for the winter. I wonder how many trailer loads it will take.
