A new working week!

Computing lessons today and we looked at simulating a marble run. In Switzerland they sell lovely wooden 50mm x 50mm blocks with a variety of 'paths' through them to create fabulous marble runs. Cuboro also have an online 'webkit' that simulates these blocks and is great for teaching spacial awareness, logical thinking and simulation.

The children had great fun and when I discovered this a year ago Philip and I spent a fun evening trying it out!

I am hoping to purchase some of the real blocks to bring a practical dimension and link to lessons. (And have something fun to construct!)
