Today's the day ...................... for an away day

We've taken ourselves off for a night away - a present from Tim and Melanie. We haven't gone far but we feel as if we're in a foreign land. This is probably because we have left Cumbria behind and we're now in Yorkshire!

There were so many things I could have blipped as we went on our way - Ruskin's View in Kirkby Lonsdale or any amount of the picturesque buildings in that lovely little town - or the imposing railway viaduct at Ingleton.

In the end it had to be this distant view of Ingleborough, only just coming out of the swirling clouds that had obscured the summit until a few moments before. What a glorious sight ...................
