Gold and silver

On our way back from town this morning, we walked back the scenic route, even though it was a bit slutchy under foot!

We had rather a heavy bag of shopping so hubs went on ahead whilst I wandered around in search today's blip.

I went via the duck pond, and as I said to Sarumstroller earlier today, I am not good with lots of flapping, so you can imagine my reaction when ALL the ducks decided to fly off the pond directly towards me, there was easily 30-40!!! Needless to say those shots didn't turn out too well!!!

I also walked through the lightly wooded area, plenty of red berries, not many birds visible, could hear plenty, but they were all elusive!

The morning was lovely and bright and the sun catching these young silver birches
( I think!) finally sealed it for me.....hope you like them!
