Train to Marrakesh

As we decided not to rent a car for our trip, we started the journey from Casablanca by train. We headed to 'Casa Voyageur' station for the 2.50 pm train and got easily tickets. Second class only was available, as there was a long weekend and many people travelling.

When boarding the train we found windows seats in an compartment, which filled up after a few stops more in other Casablance stations. All in all we were positively surprised. Clean station and trains, a very calm and civilised journey with wonderful landscapes we passed by. It had rained a lot this day and the afternoon sun created a nice atmosphere with a rainbow. Unfortunately the train windows were quite dirty for taking a blip - but anyway here the picture I have chosen.

PS: Internet access and especially the upload of pictures is difficult. As we will move towards dunes & desert there may be a break of a few days.
