Glorious Colour

This little tree in our 'patch' was last blipped on 21 October, another really wet and windy day. The colour has changed considerably since then and it has really cheered me up today as it shines through todays wind and rain.

Having watched an interesting on photographs taken during WW1 last evening on BBC4 I thought a lot today about the conditions in those trenches. It makes one realise how very lucky and privileged we are these days.
