World Diabetes Day - Friday 14th November

This is Marischal College in Aberdeen.
Lit up in blue to mark World Diabetes Day.

Particularly significant for me - as it is nine weeks since I was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2.
I'm only at the start of the journey and no doubt I have a long road ahead of me.

But you know what they say about diabetes....
It's like owning a tiger.
Look after it properly.
Feed it well.
It might not kill you.
