Farmyard

One of dogs jumped up and placed his muddy paws on me twice, on the front and back of my pale coloured jeans! This is one of three horses on the farm. We also saw Sam the cooney cooney pig who got a piece of left over toast, plus geese and llamas. The farm's business is sheep - 2500 of them. It was very interesting to hear about what is involved rearing sheep.
The sun was shining this morning so we went to Exmoor zoo where my favourite animal was the capybara - the largest of all living rodents, and looking like a cross between a guinea-pig and a hippo!
I also liked the tapir, cheetahs, gibbons, tortoises, kangaroos, humboldt penguins, crested cranes, pelicans. There were hardly any visitors and two friendly zookeepers feeding the animals were friendly and chatty.
