Good Morning

Stepping out onto the patio this morning, I realised there was a beautiful sunrise. The whole sky was just like a painting by someone with a total eye for colour and drama.

Rocky and I trudged along a very muddy unmade track on our morning walk, and I couldn't help snapping away the whole time, but I think this first one was the best as it was still quite dark.

Got the tyre back on at lunchtime, only cost £15 which was a relief. I was so ashamed at the amount of crap essential stuff I had in the boot, which had to be howfed out so that the spare tyre (or silly wheel as I will now call it) could be replaced.

To wit: large plastic storage bag for taking glass to the recycling bank; dog tie-out (metal twisty thing with long blue line); large plastic bag of toy cars; large red remote control Lighting MacQueen car and controller; big see-thru umbrella; jump leads in bag; big bottle of screenwash; 4 sunshields; brush and dustpan set; spare dog bowl; odd bottle cap (escaped from recycling bag); sweetie wrappers; AA book of roadmaps; blanket; 4 Bags for Life; 2 sheets of plastic sheeting (for when I have a bootload of plants from garden centre); spare Kagoule; library book label; window scraper; bag of books to go to Oxfam.

I am using my car as a portable garage! Big clean out at the weekend I think.

Oh well, fed, watered, and time to get back to work.
