Heartache

Today was the day, & like I said in a previous post, I'm all cried out so I spared Alexander the drama of another tearful goodbye.
After an early rise, I parcelled up a breakfast & collected the remaining items Alex required for his trip.
We got there early, so after hugs & declarations of feelings, I deposited my gift in his bag & off he went on his adventure. I stood & watched him until he was out of sight.
The gift seemed to be well received & I was pleased that my efforts were accepted the way they had been intended.
I know he will have a great time & experience much wonderment & I hope to share some of it with him in January.

The day continues & now I need to concentrate on getting myself organised & sorted! I've thought about SO much this past couple of weeks!
