Something to take with him..

I had a dentist appointment today & after the latest car drama- yesterday's flat tyre, I sought a replacement in St Helens instead.
Haydn light-heartedly joked about the smallness of my car as we headed to his recommended retailer.
A much longer work day & download session, than I planned, occurred & I only got home late. Noodle thankfully for her, was with me so had spent the day as Haydn's excitable canine shadow.
After putting finishing touches to a farewell gift, I sought an early(ish) night in preparation for an early morning alarm call to take Alex to the airport.
Bittersweet as it is sometimes taking someone to the airport when you're not going on holiday yourself - more so surely, when the person you love leaving the country for the next 6 weeks.
I want to do it though because it will be the last time I'll see him until (almost) Christmas.
