I was so nervous about taking Dad to see the potential new care home. I didn't need to worry, he really liked it! It's a better dementia unit, not as awful as the unit they showed me last week, only 10 rooms and everyone was more coherent. Took him back to his care home and gave them the good news. So hopefully he'll move by the start of next week.

Went to see Rock of Ages tonight, which was brilliant. Lots of cheesey rock music, typical love story but some great comedy moments in it.

Had some really happy news from a friend today and it's left me feeling all fuzzy and warm. I love how my friends always make me happy. So many years of laughter and love and it's never changed.
